I came into the office of Innovative Hearing Solutions with my defenses up and my arms folded not knowing what to expect. My wife has been bugging me for years that I was not hearing her (she was calling this selective hearing) the TV was too loud and she started to notice that I was not interested in going to certain social events. Reluctantly I decided to finally get my hearing tested to know for sure.

The test was so easy and painless, a lifestyle assessment was given to see how active I am( it was quick and easy to do) I found out that I have a high frequency hearing loss( I was describing it as I can hear but I just can’t make out what people are saying). I was fit with high end hearing aids (I wanted hearing aids that adapted to different environments themselves so I would not have to do it) It has been a godsend and I wish I had done this years ago.

My wife and kids are so Thankful I finally made the move to get new hearing aids and I had no idea how much I was actually missing. I have started attending more social events as I have my confidence back. I’ve even become something of a social butterfly. I am back walking every day as I could not hear the traffic safely before and I am back playing golf with my buddies.
